We have an increasing number of clients travelling from Dubai with gear that require rechargeable batteries. Don’t make the same error as one of our renters of putting batteries in your checked baggage - you will have these confiscated.
As we understand it these are the current rules - You can travel with an unlimited number of batteries of less than 100Wh (provided they are not for resale). Just make sure that you aren’t exceeding the weight limit. On MOST airlines you can also take 2 large lithium batteries that are between 101 and 150Wh but we recommend taking documentation to support their intended use and put tape over any bare terminals.
